Gianforte Endangers Montana’s Small Businesses By Allowing Unlimited Crowds

We Need To Put People Back to Work Not Encourage Large Crowds

Helena MT –  Today Gov. Gianforte announced he will remove numerical limits on gatherings as part of his wrongheaded COVID response. Sandi Luckey, MDP Executive Director, released the following statement:

“COVID is a jobs killer, and Gov. Gianforte’s decision to allow large gatherings will endanger our small businesses. We need to put people back to work and support economic recovery, not encourage large crowds that will only drive us deeper into the pandemic.”
