Republican Legislature Attacks Freedom, Puts Economy on the Backburner

Helena MT – In week three of Montana’s Legislative session, the Republican majority has offered zero bills to create jobs, and has instead been insistent on a suite of bills attacking Montanans’ individual rights and freedoms. While Democrats have hit the ground running to lead with solutions that create jobs and put money in Montanans’ pockets, their Republican counterparts have yet to show up where it matters. 

“Republicans have spent the first three weeks, almost the first quarter, of the Legislative Session pushing a radical agenda attacking Montanans’ freedom,” said Sandi Luckey Executive Director of the Montana Democratic Party. “Legislative Democrats are focused on creating jobs and opportunity…when will Republicans join them? ”
