“Senator Tester’s opponent clearly doesn’t understand the first thing about women’s healthcare”
Helena, MT – Montanans won’t stand for Mitch McConnell’s handpicked candidate Tim Sheehy trying to insert the government into women and families’ most personal decisions – and they’re letting him know. In recent letters to the editor, Montanans have made it clear that Tim Sheehy’s support for a national abortion ban and refusal to back federal IVF protections is wildly out of touch with voters’ support for reproductive freedoms.

Women’s healthcare will be on the ballot in Montana’s US Senate race this November. We know where Jon Tester stands: squarely on the side of women having the right and freedom to make their own decisions on their own healthcare without government interference.
Where does Tim Sheehy stand? Tim says he is “proudly pro-life” and he’s been endorsed by Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, an organization that only endorses candidates who support a national abortion ban.
Senator Tester’s opponent clearly doesn’t understand the first thing about women’s healthcare — women should have the freedom to make their own choices regarding their healthcare without government interference.
Montana has protected that right for decades but now Tim Sheehy wants to take it away. The government has no place in a doctor’s office and no place telling a woman what to do with her body. Tim Sheehy is a threat to our reproductive freedom and clearly wants more government overreach into our private lives. Montana women should beware.

Seeking IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) treatment is one of the most personal and intimate decisions a family can make. The government has no place telling soon-to-be parents that they can't grow their families. But Republicans like Tim Sheehy are dead set on telling parents what to do.
After Alabama judges effectively banned IVF treatments, the U.S. Senate voted on a bill to protect IVF nationwide. Did Senate Republicans vote for it? No, they BLOCKED it. Why? Because extreme organizations like SBA Pro-Life America, which endorsed Tim Sheehy, told them to.
When people show you who they are, believe them. If elected, Tim Sheehy would join the Senate Republicans who refuse to protect IVF and women's health care.
I won't be voting for Tim Sheehy this November because politicians and the government have no right involving themselves in our personal and private decisions to expand our families.
