Helena, MT – Was Tim Sheehy pushed out of his CEO role? Will he divest from Bridger Aerospace? Sheehy refuses to answer those questions.
At a recent campaign stop, Sheehy was asked why he was pushed out of Bridger Aerospace and if he would sell his company shares if elected to the Senate. Sheehy ignored her questions.
Sheehy is facing renewed scrutiny for lying about his business success after new investigative reporting revealed that:
Sheehy’s company is hemorrhaging cash, while he pockets multimillion-dollar bonuses. Sheehy has claimed that, “as a small business owner, you know, you don’t balance the budget in your business, you don’t get paid.” But the Washington Post reported that as his company reported $77 million losses, “Sheehy has received millions of dollars in compensation” – including multimillion-dollar bonuses.
On Sheehy’s watch, his company falsely certified itself as a “socially and economically disadvantaged company” in “seeking to win contracts,” as reported by NBC News. Sheehy’s company is funded almost entirely by government contracts.
The largest investor in Sheehy’s company, Blackstone, is now cashing out and bailing on the company. Two Blackstone board members resigned shortly before Tim Sheehy abruptly resigned as CEO.
Sheehy falsely claimed he “bootstrapped” his company, despite taking hundreds of thousands of dollars in startup cash from his family.
At a time when Montanans deserve answers about Sheehy’s conflicts of interest and business record, his silence speaks volumes.
