Sheehy Commits to National Abortion Ban to Win Endorsement from Anti-Choice Group

Sheehy announced an endorsement from SBA Pro-Life America, a group that only backs candidates who support a national abortion ban
Helena, MT – This morning, Tim Sheehy was endorsed by Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA), an extreme anti-abortion group known for its national abortion ban “litmus test” for supporting candidates. With this endorsement, Sheehy is making it public that he commits to a national abortion ban, putting him at odds with Montanans.
SBA has said that they will only back House or Senate candidates that support legislation that would ban abortion. Sheehy’s support of a national ban is deeply unpopular in Montana, where nearly 60% of Montanans support access to abortion.
Sheehy has previously called abortion murder, so it is no surprise that he would support a national ban that strips away the personal freedoms of Montana women.
