Reminder: Tim Sheehy and Matt Rosendale Would Take Away Montanans’ Reproductive Freedom

Helena, MT – Last night’s election results made clear that voters believe women deserve the freedom to make their own health care decisions. Tim Sheehy and Matt Rosendale are dangerously out of step, supporting efforts to outlaw abortion and make it harder for Montana women to access reproductive care.
Tim Sheehy compared abortion to murder when asked about a Supreme Court ruling protecting access to the abortion pill earlier this year. Matt Rosendale said he believes in protecting “the sanctity of life” in “all circumstances, no exceptions.” He repeatedly cosponsored legislation, including in 2023, that is widely considered a “complete or nearly complete ban on abortion.”
Montanans don’t want politicians coming for their personal freedoms – and Sheehy and Rosendale’s anti-abortion positions will continue to haunt them on the campaign trail from now until next November.
