Out-of-Stater Navigator: Tim Sheehy’s Military Lies Investigated by the NYT and Washington Post

Sheehy might be trying to avoid the press, but that hasn’t stopped them from reporting on his continued lies. The recent on-the-record account of Sheehy’s gunshot wound straight from the Glacier Park Ranger that was there, and from Sheehy’s former fellow SEAL, are just the tip of the iceberg in another bad week of news for Tim Sheehy.

NEW: SEAL WHO SERVED WITH SHEEHY QUESTIONS HIS GUNSHOT WOUND STORY

Bombshell new reporting from the New York Times raises new questions about the lies and inconsistencies Tim Sheehy has told about his military record, including a gunshot wound that Sheehy claims was from combat but federal records show was self-inflicted in a Glacier National Park parking lot.

The New York Times interviewed a former Navy SEAL who served with Tim Sheehy, Dave Madden, who “was surprised when Mr. Sheehy began talking more recently about having been shot that spring in Afghanistan, and that he became convinced that Mr. Sheehy had invented the story.”

NEW: MONTANA RANGER SHARES FIRSTHAND ACCOUNT OF SHEEHY’S GUNSHOT IN GLACIER PARK STORY

In breaking new reporting from the Washington Post, a former Glacier National Park Ranger shares for the first time his firsthand account of the day federal records show Tim Sheehy shot himself in the arm in Glacier National Park – a bullet wound that Sheehy claimed on the campaign trail was received in combat.

The Montana Ranger called out Sheehy’s “refusal to own up to the truth,” telling the Post that “what is disgusting is saying a wound from a negligent, accidental firearm discharge is a wound received in combat,” and that Sheehy’s “story just has so many holes.”

Sheehy has still refused to produce medical records from that day that would reveal the truth.

SHEEHY WOULD PUT MONTANA PUBLIC SCHOOLS ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK

Wealthy out-of-stater Tim Sheehy continues to come under fire after audio reporting revealed his dangerous plan to shutter the Department of Education, which would strip critical funding from Montana’s public schools. Sheehy’s plan would be especially devastating because “roughly 90% of students in kindergarten through 12th grade attend public school in Montana, totaling about 150,000 children.”

SHEEHY INSULTS TRUMP-TESTER VOTERS

Damning new video from an event shows Tim Sheehy continuing his pattern of insulting Montanans, saying that split-ticket voters supporting both Trump and Tester must be “on [Jon Tester’s] fitness program.”

The offensive remarks were made by Sheehy during the Flathead County Republicans’ Lincoln Reagan Trump Dinner, and are the latest example of Sheehy disrespecting Montana voters. Previously, Sheehy called young women “indoctrinated” for caring about reproductive freedom, and Tribal leaders across Montana called on him to apologize after he called Native Americans “drunk at 8 A.M.”

SHEEHY CALLED OUT FOR “LAUNDRY LIST OF LIES” IN NEW OP-ED

In a blistering new statewide op-ed, Montana Democratic Party Executive Director Sheila Hogan calls out Tim Sheehy for his growing “laundry list of lies” and for failing to be honest with Montanans about “who he is, where he’s from, and where he stands on the most pressing issues.”

Sheehy’s disturbing pattern of saying one thing in private and another thing in public is exactly why Montanans can’t trust him to represent us in the Senate.

SHEEHY FACES SCRUTINY FOR DODGING THE PRESS

Following brutal reporting from CNN earlier this month detailing how Tim Sheehy “goes to extreme lengths to dodge the media,” a new wave of coverage is highlighting how the candidate is in hiding as questions mount about his lies, dangerous policy positions, and wave of scandals.

Local and national outlets are scrutinizing Shady Sheehy for “ignoring numerous requests for an interview,” and running “a campaign like none I’ve ever seen.
