Sheehy joined the Montana GOP in support of a “complete ban” on abortion and transferring Montana’s public lands, making it easier to sell them off to millionaire out-of-staters like himself, proving he does not understand the first thing about Montana values.
NEWLY RELEASED PLATFORM SHOWS SHEEHY AND MONTANA GOP SUPPORT “COMPLETE BAN” ON ABORTION
Sheehy and the Montana GOP support a “complete ban” on abortion with no exceptions, per the party’s 2024 platform. Sheehy attended and spoke at the MontanaGOP platform convention last month.
The platform states: “We support the preservation of innocent human life at every stage of life, in all circumstances, beginning at conception through natural death [...] We support a complete ban on elective abortion.”

One hundred days out from Election Day, the Montana Democratic Party is turning the spotlight on Shady Sheehy through a new series that highlights how Sheehy will change Montana for the worse, because Sheehy is a rich out-of-stater who is running for Senate to benefit himself, at the expense of Montanans.
“SHEEHY DIRECTLY LOBBIED MONTANA GOVERNOR TO SLASH TAXES FOR OUT-OF-STATE INVESTORS”
New reporting revealed how multimillionaire Sheehy leveraged his personal relationship with Governor Greg Gianforte to fight for “a tax cut that would benefit wealthy out-of-state investors” like him.
Sheehy, who has donated “at least $2,000” to Gianforte’s campaigns, emailed Gianforte to request a change to the tax system that would benefit out-of-state investors. Following the email, Gianforte “signed a major cut to Montana’s capital gains tax,” benefiting wealthy out-of-state investors at the expense of hardworking Montanans.

Sheehy’s lobbyist ties were front and center at the RNC last week, reporting from Punchbowl revealed. While in Milwaukee, Sheehy wined and dined with “top” lobbyists and the “who’s who of K Street” at a high-end steakhouse dinner.
