Helena, MT – It was another miserable week for transplant Tim Sheehy and the NRSC as new reporting signaled that Maryland Matt Rosendale will enter the Senate race in the coming weeks – their biggest nightmare is on the precipice of coming true. The hits kept coming for Sheehy as he became the subject of a potential DOJ investigation and Montanans are reminded of his dangerous record on reproductive rights.
ROSENDALE PLANS TO FILE WHILE SHEEHY BEGS REPUBLICANS NOT TO RUN AGAINST HIM
After months of doing everything possible to prevent a competitive primary, the NRSC’s mission is looking like a massive failure: Thanks to Sheehy’s ever growing list of weaknesses, it seems he won’t have the primary to himself. The Washington Examiner shared breaking news last night that Rosendale will launch his Senate campaign “right before the March filing deadline.” In response, Sheehy released an op-ed where he begged Republicans to “coalesce” around his candidacy. Tim, it’s too early to be this scared!
SHEEHY COULD FACE DOJ INVESTIGATION OVER UNDISCLOSED FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS
Shady Sheehy is at it again. New reporting from The Hill revealed that Sheehy could be the subject of a DOJ investigation due to allegedly hiding underlying assets on his personal financial disclosure. This complaint came after a review of his personal financial disclosure revealed he may have omitted important information about his wealth and potential conflicts of interests. With Sheehy’s history of hiding his financial information, it is becoming clear that Sheehy cannot be trusted.
SHEEHY BACKED BY TUBERVILLE AFTER HE SUPPORTED TUBERVILLE’S DISASTROUS MILITARY NOMINATIONS BLOCKADE
After Sheehy supported and raised money off of Senator Tommy Tuberville’s military hold, which was deemed a “national security suicide mission” by Senate Republicans, Tuberville endorsed Sheehy. Tuberville’s hold blocked more than 400 essential military nominations and was widely believed to have weakened military responsiveness and readiness, but that didn’t stop Sheehy from raking in campaign cash off the blockade.
MONTANANS LEARN THE TRUTH ABOUT SHEEHY AND ROSENDALE’S ATTACKS ON REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOMS
Ahead of the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, a new website launched today informing Montanans of Sheehy and Rosendale’s dangerous record on reproductive rights. Montanans will be reminded from now until election day that Sheehy called abortion “murder” and Rosendale supports completely outlawing abortion without exceptions, extreme positions putting them at odds with Montanans and their personal freedoms.
