Darin Gaub, chairman of the Lewis & Clark County Republican Central Committee: “This is definitely a big story about Washington, D.C., versus the people of Montana [...] I think [Rosendale] would’ve won the Senate race, both primary and general, but a lot of people got in the way to make sure he wasn't there.”
Theresa Manzella, chairwoman of the Montana Freedom Caucus:“Eighty percent of us have to agree on an issue to take it up, and [supporting Sheehy is] not an issue we agree on. Warriors like Matt Rosendale are few and far between."
