MDP Statement on the Anniversary of the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol

Helena, MT— The Montana Democratic Party’s Executive Director, Sheila Hogan, released the following statement on the 4th anniversary of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol:

“On this 4th anniversary of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, the Montana Democratic Party honors law enforcement and those who defended democracy as a violent mob unsuccessfully attempted to prevent the certification of election results. We stand with the families whose loved ones were killed or hurt defending our Constitution, and we call for a peaceful transition as a new administration steps into power.
