Helena, MT – Following the conclusion of Montana’s Senate primary election, Sheila Hogan, the executive director of the Montana Democratic Party, released the following statement:

“Tim Sheehy represents everything Montanans hate about rich out-of-staters: He’s a multimillionaire who doesn’t understand Montana values. He lies about who he is, where he’s from, and he’s running for the Senate to line his pockets.”

“This November, Montanans will have a choice between a third-generation dirt farmer and a transplant multimillionaire. While Jon Tester has worked tirelessly on behalf of Montana’s rural communities, veterans, and hard working families, Sheehy has been busy attacking what makes our state great. He wants to transfer public lands, which will make it easier to sell off the lands we treasure, and take away our freedoms.”

“Montanans don’t trust Sheehy and will send Tester back to the Senate in November.”
