Sheehy hobnobs with D.C. lobbyists on a workday as questions swirl about potential misuse of company resources for his U.S. Senate campaign
Helena, MT – Mitch McConnell recruit Tim Sheehy didn’t show up to work at his taxpayer-funded company Bridger Aerospace today – instead, he was schmoozing with D.C. lobbyists amid questions about potential misuse of company resources for his campaign.
Sheehy’s company policy outlines that “employees are not permitted to engage in politics while on company time,” and he has refused to say how he’ll comply with those rules.
Today, Sheehy was caught on video rushing into a lobbyist-hosted fundraiser in D.C. and refused to answer questions about whether or not he was there while on company time:
Is Tim Sheehy on company time in D.C. today? Or does his taxpayer-funded company give him PTO to meet with the lobbyists pulling the strings in his campaign? Transplant Tim won't say! pic.twitter.com/X8EJNW1Ked

“If Tim Sheehy isn’t too exhausted from his busy day of schmoozing with D.C. insiders, maybe he can finally explain to Montanans if he’s using taxpayer-funded company resources for his U.S. Senate campaign,” said Monica Robinson, senior communications advisor for the Montana Democratic Party.
McConnell recruit Sheehy has been a Beltway regular since launching his campaign. In July, Sheehy refused to answer questions about why he was meeting with lobbyists instead of Montanans as he scurried into a lobbying firm’s office. In fact, meeting with lobbyists was the first thing he did when he was preparing to launch his campaign.
