Is MT Gov Gianforte Too Extreme for Republicans?

Helena, MT – Last night, Idaho Governor Brad Little (R) vetoed a bill that would block private businesses from requiring COVID-19 vaccines, calling it a “government overreach” into the private sector.

Governor Greg Gianforte signed a similar bill in 2021, banning businesses from making their own decisions about vaccines in Montana. To this day, Montana is the only state in the country that has enacted such a government overreach.

Last week, Utah Governor Spencer Cox (R) vetoed a bill that would ban transgender girls and women from participating in school sports, citing statistics that revealed only one transgender student plays girls sports in Utah, and instead calling on his state to “err on the side of kindness, mercy and compassion.”

Governor Greg Gianforte signed a nearly identical bill in 2021.

So we have a question… Is Greg too extreme and far-right for Republicans? Who is he representing? Because it certainly is not the independent-thinking electorate Montana is known for. Governor Gianforte is too extreme for Montana.
