Helena, MT – Congressman Matt Rosendale is doubling down on his anti-in vitro fertilization (IVF) attacks by hanging posters outside his Washington office that read “IVF Destroys More Life Than Planned Parenthood”. Rosendale’s ongoing assault on Montanans’ reproductive health care leaves voters demanding answers: why do Greg Gianforte and Ryan Zinke continue to remain silent as Rosendale launches another attack on IVF?
Earlier this week, Congressman Matt Rosendale filed an amendment that would ban funding for IVF treatment which has sparked outrage among Montanans hopeful to grow their families using IVF. Governor Greg Gianforte and Rep. Ryan Zinke have not said a word about Rosendale’s actions.
“Greg Gianforte and Ryan Zinke’s silence on Congressman Matt Rosendale’s ugly assault on IVF is deafening, and Montanans are disgusted,” said Sheila Hogan Executive Director with the Montana Democratic Party. “You either believe in protecting a woman’s right to start a family, or you believe that women and families should not have the freedom to make their own reproductive decisions. There is no middle ground, and Gianforte and Zinke are demonstrating which side they’re on.”
