Helena, MT – The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee has announced their Spotlight races for the 2022 Election, and five Montana legislative candidates have been selected.
Casey Schreiner, SD 13, is a former public school science teacher, lifetime union member, and proven advocate for change in Montana.
Pat Flowers, SD 32, has dedicated his career to protecting the state’s wildlife and the safety of everyday Montanans.
Sara Novak, HD 77, is a proud mother, former special education teacher, and accomplished education administrator working with over twenty rural school districts.
Sharon Stewart Peregoy, HD 42, has been a relentless champion of Indigenous rights during her time serving in both chambers of the Montana Legislature.
Willis Curdy, SD 49, is not afraid to face Montana’s toughest challenges head-on, having served as a wildland firefighter for almost four decades, as well as working as a pilot for the U.S. Forest Service.
“The slate of Democratic legislative candidates running in Montana this election is incredibly strong,” says Scott McNeil, director of Montana Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee. “Montana voters know it; the DLCC knows it. These spotlighted candidates are ready to fight for all Montanans, and they reflect just how critical and competitive Montana’s legislative elections are this year.”
