Protestors brought attention to Sheehy’s call to transfer public lands in Billings outside of the Montana Republican Party platform convention

Helena, MT – On Friday, protestors gathered outside of the Montana Republican Party platform convention, where Transplant Tim Sheehy was programmed to speak, to call out Sheehy’s support for transferring public landsto make it easier to sell off Montana’s public lands to out-of-state multimillionaires like him.

The Montana Republican Party platform has long included support for federal land transfer. Sheehy has stood with them, calling for public lands to “get turned over to state agencies, or even counties.” Sheehy’s position is deeply out-of-step with Montanans: 83% of Montanans say that conservation issues are a matter they consider at the polls.

From now until November, Montanans won’t stop raising their voices to make it known that Sheehy would change Montana for the worse.
