Monica Tranel adds two more major Republican Endorsements
Helena, MT – Monday, former Republican Governor and former Republican National Committee Chairman Marc Racicot and former Republican Secretary of State Bob Brown endorsed Democrat Monica Tranel, in Montana’s Western Congressional district, which is shaping up to be one of the closest House races this cycle.
The republican endorsements comes when Ryan Zinke’s campaign seems to be particularly insecure with Republican voters – after barely eking out a win in the primary, despite outspending his opponent four-to-one. In the recent debates and online, Zinke is now going on the offensive against John Lamb, the Libertarian candidate in the race. Is Zinke losing voters to him as well?
“It’s becoming more and more obvious that Ryan Zinke is a toxic candidate – even Republicans don’t like him,” says Sheila Hogan, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party. “Montanans of every political party want their elected representatives to be honest and have integrity. Ryan Zinke has neither.”
