Tim Sheehy’s Top Campaign Priority: Meet with DC Lobbyists

Sheehy wasted no time flying to DC to once again hobnob with lobbyists about his campaign
 

Helena, MT – Montana newcomer Tim Sheehy hasn’t had a public event in Montana since launching his campaign. But in his defense, he might not have had the time: He’s been much too busy flying to DC to hobnob with lobbyists. 

Today, Sheehy refused to answer questions about why he was meeting with DC lobbyists instead of Montanans as he walked into a lobbying firm’s office: 

“Mitch McConnell and DC lobbyists are running Tim Sheehy’s campaign, not Montanans,” said Monica Robinson, senior communications advisor for the Montana Democratic Party.

Sheehy has additional meetings with DC lobbyists scheduled throughout the week. Before he had even announced his campaign, Sheehy was spotted in DC meeting with “roughly 20 lobbyists” to discuss his potential Senate run.
