Sheehy’s call to transfer public lands is a massive misstep for Montanans
Helena, MT – Montana transplant Tim Sheehy continues to stumble on the campaign trail as Montanans learn more about his record on the issues that matter and his swampy ties to Washington.
Last week, new reporting unveiled the cozy relationship between Sheehy and Rep. Ryan Zinke – highlighting the tens of thousands of dollars Sheehy and his family poured into Zinke’s campaign coffers as Zinke secured legislation and lucrative contracts that benefit Sheehy’s business.
Later, reporting revealed that Sheehy called to transfer off federal public lands, grabbing the “third rail” of conservation issues and putting him at odds with Montanans across the state. Montanans know that our public lands do not belong in the hands of multimillionaires like Sheehy.
