Sheehy fundraising email asked donors if they stand with Tuberville as he blocks confirmation of hundreds of key senior military promotions

Helena, MT – Mitch McConnell recruit and Montana newcomer Tim Sheehy is raising money off of Senator Tommy Tuberville’s blockade of hundreds of senior military promotions, Punchbowl News reported:

In the fundraising email, which splits donations with Sheehy, donors are asked if they stand with Tuberville blocking key military promotions in the U.S. Senate as part of his crusade to deny women servicemembers access to abortion. 

Top military officials have warned that Tuberville’s block is putting our national security at risk. 

“Tim Sheehy needs to explain to Montanans why he supports jeopardizing our national security and military readiness in exchange for denying women servicemembers access to reproductive health care,” said Monica Robinson, senior communications advisor for the Montana Democratic Party.
