Rosendale Votes Against Accountability for Mark Meadows in Jan 6th Contempt Vote

Helena, MT – Tuesday night, Rep. Matt Rosendale voted against holding former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows in contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate in the Jan 6th investigation.

Let’s take a look back at Rosendale’s history of putting party over country:

  • January 6 2021 – Votes to overturn election results in one or more states

  • January 7 2021 – The DAY after the deadly insurrection, Rosendale continues to oppose election results

  • May 19 2021 – Votes against a bipartisan commission to investigate the January 6 Riot

  • July 15 2021 – Votes against awarding the Congressional Gold Medal to Capitol police officers who responded to the Jan. 6 Capitol siege

  • December 15, 2021 – Voices support of Mark Meadows and votes against holding him in contempt of congress for refusing to cooperate with the investigation

“It has become crystal clear to Montanans that Rosendale does not care about law and order, ” says Sheila Hogan, Executive Director of the Montana Democratic Party. “He is too busy playing political games to hold accountable the perpetrators and enablers of the January 6th insurrection.”
