Out-of-Stater Navigator: Transplant Tim Sheehy Called Out For “Rhinestone Cowboy” Lifestyle
Matt Rosendale said for months that Tim Sheehy has no place representing Montana and Montanans agree. This week, Montana Democrats reminded Montanans about Sheehy’s glaring lies and out-of-touch record. Catch up on below:
SHEEHY’S NEIGHBORS LEARN THE TRUTH
A mobile billboard drove around Bozeman this week, playing the Montana Democratic Party’s new ad highlighting Montana Transplant Tim Sheehy’s “rhinestone cowboy” lifestyle. The ad follows reporting from Vanity Fair that uncovered the truth about Sheehy “cowboy” claims – he does not run the day-to-day operations of his ranch, and uses the ranch land for brand deals and photoshoots.
MONTANA DEMS STATEMENT ON ROSENDALE’S SPEEDY EXIT
Montana Democratic Party Executive Director Sheila Hogan issued the following statement after Matt Rosendale suspended his campaign for U.S. Senate less than a week after he launched it:
“Rosendale spent months making the case that Tim Sheehy has no place representing Montana in the Senate and he was right: Sheehy is an out-of-state tech millionaire completely out of touch with Montana’s way of life. Mitch McConnell’s handpicked candidate Tim Sheehy wants to transfer off our public lands and shutter our rural hospitals, and he made his money off taxpayer-funded government contracts and investments tied to China – that’s a record he’ll be dogged by from now until Election Day. Third generation Montana farmer Jon Tester will wipe the floor with Tim Sheehy.”
SHEEHY LOVES BEING MCCONNELL’S YES MAN
Mitch McConnell confirmed this week that he will swoop in to Montana prop up his handpicked candidate Tim Sheehy, making it even more clear that Sheehy is deep in McConnell’s pocket. Having made his riches from taxpayer-funded government contracts, it’s no surprise that Sheehy would rather tie himself to the D.C. insiders instead of Montanans.
