Out-of-Stater Navigator: Sheehy Doesn’t Understand Montana Values
From refusing to support protections for IVF treatment to calling for transferring public lands, Tim Sheehy is out-of-touch with Montana values, and Montanans are letting him know. Whether they are protesting his events or flooding their local papers with letters to the editor, Montanans are making it clear for all to see that Sheehy doesn’t know the first thing about home.
NEW PLATFORM SHOWS TIM SHEEHY AND MONTANA GOP CONDEMN IVF TREATMENT
Sheehy and the Montana GOP want to take away IVF treatment from Montanafamilies, per the party’s new platform plank.
The platform now states: “We support non-embryonic stem cell research and the ethical treatment of embryos created through invitro fertilization.” Sheehy attended and spoke at the Montana GOP platform convention last month.
“Ethical treatment” of embryos is language that Republicans have long used in order to pass legislation to ban or seriously restrict IVF access.
NEWLY RELEASED PLATFORM SHOWS TIM SHEEHY AND THE MT GOP SUPPORT TRANSFERRING MONTANA’S PUBLIC LANDS
Sheehy and the Montana GOP support transferring public lands, which would make it easier to sell off public lands to multimillionaire out-of-staters like Sheehy.
The Montana GOP party platform includes a plank that states: “The MontanaRepublican Party supports relinquishing federally managed public lands to the states in order to secure statehood equality and provide for better management of public lands.” Sheehy attended and spoke at the MontanaGOP platform convention last month.
This language mirrors Sheehy’s calls to transfer public lands.

WHAT MONTANANS ARE SAYING: TIM SHEEHY WON’T STAND UP FOR MONTANA VALUES
Montanans are making it clear: Sheehy doesn’t represent them and their values.
Montanans are asking whether multimillionaire Sheehy can truly represent Montana when he was “born with a silver spoon in his mouth in Minnesota,” he “wants to close public lands and start charging fees,” he resigned as CEO after “his company had $77 million in losses last year,” he is “not running things for regular Montanans,” and he is a “faux cowboy.”

SHADY SHEEHY IS OUT FOR HIMSELF
Shady Sheehy is out for himself – at the expense of hardworking Montanans.
While Montanans’ property taxes skyrocket, multimillionaire Sheehy used his business associate to slash his property taxes on his Big Sky ski chalet.
After resigning as CEO of Bridger Aerospace, Sheehy is refusing to sell off his Bridger shares worth over $32 million, creating massive conflicts of interest. If elected, he could steer taxpayer dollars right into his wallet.
Sheehy and his family members poured nearly $50,000 into Rep. Ryan Zinke’s campaign and PAC while Zinke was introducing a bill Bridger Aerospace lobbied for. Zinke, who was a personal friend of Sheehy’s, also awarded Bridger Aerospace its very first Interior Department contract – just months after he became Secretary of the Interior.
After donating $2,000 to Gianforte’s campaigns, Sheehy emailed Gov. Greg Gianforte to request a change to the tax system that would benefit out-of-state investors. After Sheehy’s email, Gianforte “signed a major cut to Montana’s capital gains tax,” slashing taxes for the rich while working Montana families foot the bill.
