Out-of-Stater Navigator: Montanans Rip Sheehy for His “Political Hypocrisy”
Once again, Transplant Tim Sheehy spent another week out-of-step with Montanans. In a new letter to the editor, a Montanan pointed out that Sheehy has “no regard for taxpayers,” because his company collected nearly a million dollars in the same COVID aid he criticized and then he pocketed a multi-million dollar salary. On top of this, the Washington Post highlighted Sheehy’s carpetbagging weaknesses.
Simultaneously, Montana Republicans attacked Sheehy and the NRSC for their primary meddling – underlining Sheehy’s many vulnerabilities with the Montanaelectorate.
WHAT MONTANANS ARE SAYING: “TIM SHEEHY HAS NO REGARD FOR TAXPAYERS”
From now until Election Day, Montanans will keep reminding Sheehy that he knows nothing about Montana values. From making his riches from government contracts to playing cowboy, recent letters to the editor have made clear that Sheehy is just another “out-of-state millionaire” who has “done nothing but erode our values and distort our culture.”
SHEEHY CAN’T HIDE FROM BEING A CARPETBAGGER
The Washington Post reported on Sheehy’s carpetbagging vulnerabilities – and how his status as an ultrawealthy out-of-stater who recently moved to Montanais top of mind for Montanans.
Sheehy is most Montanans’ worst nightmare – he is “one of the wealthy out-of-staters moving to Montana, creating congestion and driving up property costs.” Sheehy moved to Montana less than a decade ago and bought up three luxury properties, “including on Flathead Lake and in Big Sky.” And he “raked in $7 million in income last year.”
MONTANA REPUBLICANS SLAM SHEEHY
New reporting from the Daily Inter Lake revealed the deep chasm among Republicans who resent the “heavy tactics of Mitch McConnel [sic] and Steve Daines” – they have serious concerns about consolidating around Sheehy after the NRSC’s aggressive maneuvering.
The reporting also pointed out how little Montanans know about Sheehy’s policy positions as he refused to make himself available for an interview.
