New ad hits Sheehy for trying to buy the Montana way of life
Helena, MT – Today, a mobile billboard driving around Bozeman unveiled the Montana Democratic Party’s new ad highlighting Montana transplant Tim Sheehy’s “rhinestone cowboy” lifestyle. From buying up luxury properties in Flathead Lake and Big Sky Resort to using an out of state “influencer” to celebrate his "hashtag ranch life,” it’s clear that Sheehy wants to live out his Yellowstone dream.
The mobile billboard will drive through Bozeman, making certain that Sheehy’s neighbors will be well aware of the fact that Sheehy may have bought a ranch with his tech millions – but that doesn’t make him a rancher.
The ad follows reporting from Vanity Fair that revealed Sheehy does not run the day-to-day operations of his ranch, despite repeatedly claiming to be a rancher on the campaign trail.
SCRIPT:
Tim Sheehy, another out-of-state tech millionaire comes to buy up land in Montana.
Buys a fancy hat.
He even does a glossy magazine photoshoot or two.
His ranch uses an out of state “influencer” who celebrates their "hashtag ranch life”... whatever that means.
Buys up luxury properties on Flathead Lake and Big Sky Resort.
But all his fancy clothes, luxury properties, and photoshoots won’t fool us.
Because our way of life can't be bought. It’s earned.
Tell Tim Sheehy: We don’t need another rhinestone cowboy.
