New digital ad highlights the impact Sheehy’s health care agenda would have on Montanans, including shuttering rural hospitals and ending Medicare

Helena, MT – Today, the Montana Democratic Party released a new digital ad highlighting the disastrous consequences of Montana transplant Tim Sheehy’s “pure privatization” plan, which would raise costs and dismantle Medicare for Montana’s seniors, shutter rural hospitals, repeal the Affordable Care Act, and end protections for those with pre-existing conditions.

After leaked audio revealed that Sheehy called for the “pure privatization” of the U.S. health care system, rural Montanans came together to call out the harmful effects of Sheehy’s plan.

WATCH HERE:

“Returning health care to pure privatization would be disastrous for Montana seniors, families, and rural communities,” said Hannah Rehm, senior communications advisor for the Montana Democratic Party. “While Tim Sheehy tries to keep his plans behind closed doors, we will make sure all Montanans know that he is intent on robbing them of their life-saving health care coverage.”

“We have paid into Medicare our whole lives, they shouldn’t pull the rug out from under us.”

“Access to health care in rural America can be the difference between life and death.”

“I honestly don't know how he can sleep at night.”
