Rosendale secures endorsement from Montana Republican Party treasurer as Sheehy gets snarky towards Rosendale

Helena, MT – Despite Mitch McConnell’s best efforts, mounting signs point towards a contentious GOP primary in the Montana U.S. Senate race.

Rep. Brad Tschida, treasurer for the Montana Republican Party,
penned a letter urging Maryland Matt Rosendale to enter the U.S. Senate race. His endorsement adds to the growing list of Montana legislators calling for Rosendale to run against DC establishment pick Tim Sheehy.

Amid Rosendale’s in-state endorsements, McConnell’s handpicked candidate Sheehy is
taking shots at Rosendale – all but assuring a nasty primary for Montana Republicans.

“If it’s a day that ends in y, Republicans are bickering about which out-of-touch Montana transplant should get their backing in what is sure to be a nasty Senate primary,”
said Monica Robinson, senior communications advisor for the Montana Democratic Party.
