Montana Democratic Party Statement on Bombshell AP Report Revealing Tim Sheehy Lobbied Officials Over Steak Dinners

Helena, MT – Following new reporting today from the Associated Press revealing that Tim Sheehy lobbied Montana government officials in an effort to win lucrative, exclusive contracts for his company – including by taking them out to dinner at expensive steakhouses – the Montana Democratic Party’s executive director, Sheila Hogan, released the following statement:

“Tim Sheehy wining and dining state officials at an expensive steakhouse in an effort to win lucrative, exclusive contracts is the latest proof that he is only looking out for himself, not Montana. It’s clear that Sheehy is nothing more than a wealthy out-of-stater who would fit right in with D.C. insiders and lobbyists. Montanans can’t trust Shady Sheehy to fight for our state when all he cares about is his bottom line.”
