ICYMI: Scandal-Plagued Ryan Zinke Is Back in the News For All the Wrong Reasons
Montana’s most embarrassing GOP candidate lied to federal investigators in corruption case
Helena, MT – In a damning report released on Wednesday, investigators with a Trump-appointed Inspector General found that Ryan Zinke made “statements to investigators with the overall intent to mislead them,” and he tried to cover it up by pressuring them into keeping the report quiet until after the November election.
This is not Ryan Zinke’s first brush with infamy. Zinke’s trail of corruption, long laundry list of misdeeds, ethics investigations precedes him – and very well could be the reason why he was nearly beaten by a little-known challenger with a quarter of the budget in this year's primary election.
