GOP Primary Infighting in Montana Senate Race Gets Nastier

Helena, MT – Following a week of bad press for Mitch McConnell’s preferred candidate Tim Sheey, the Montana Senate Republican primary took a nasty turn as GOP infighting dominated the headlines.
The scuffle began after the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a bewildering statement attacking Matt Rosendale.
Rosendale pushed back with his own pointed message and teased his campaign launch, attacking McConnell for his “attempt to select our next senator,” and hitting Sheehy because he “profited off of Biden’s Green New Deal, and has already spent more time meeting with lobbyists in Washington than visiting with Montanans.”
Montana Republicans don’t like what they see:
The Anaconda - Deer Lodge Republicans shared this message about Rosendale’s video: “[Rosendale’s] absolutely right about Sheehy.” Gallatin County Republican Women also shared Rosendale's video on Facebook.
