Helena, MT – Tim Sheehy was torched on Fox News Sunday for his lies about his military record, after breaking reporting from the New York Times, Washington Post, and Associated Press raised new questions about a gunshot wound that Sheehy claims was from combat but federal records show was self-inflicted in a Glacier National Park parking lot.

“Candidate quality matters. What is so interesting about the Montana Senate race is that Tim Sheehy now in multiple accounts has lied about whether he was shot in combat.
“He said he was, now it turns out he shot himself accidentally while visiting a national park in the United States.
“So he’s under a ton of fire in Montana. I wonder if in the last 16 days those numbers will shift a little more towards Tester because of his lying in this case.”
