As Tim Sheehy Campaigns With Tom Cotton, A Reminder They Both Want to Ban Abortion Nationwide

Helena, MT – It’s no surprise that Tim Sheehy recruited Tom Cotton to stump for him in Montana – Cotton is another out-of-stater who wants to ban abortion.
Sheehy says he wants abortion “all to end tomorrow,” and, together, Cotton and Sheehy would be able to make that happen. Cotton has sponsored and votedfor legislation to ban abortion nationwide, making him Sheehy’s role model in the Senate.
Sheehy’s record on abortion is abysmal. When talking about abortion, Sheehy said, “I think it’s sinful. I think it’s terrible. I think it’s a repulsive thing to do.” He also opposes CI-128, the ballot measure to protect Montanans’ reproductive freedoms, he has refused to support federal protections for IVF treatment and birth control, and he’s called abortion “murder.”
