56 County Tour with Zero Public Stops? Gianforte Is Afraid of Meeting With Montanans

 Helena, MT – Governor Gianforte kicked off his third “56 County Tour” this month, and like the two previous iterations, it is closed to the public and invite-only. Gianforte is not publishing the dates, times, or locations for his “tour.”

“Why is Governor Gianforte hiding from his constituents?” asked Sheila Hogan, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party. “He cannot face working Montanans because he would have to explain why he keeps giving the wealthy and the well-connected cushy handouts, while letting Montana kids go hungry.”

Meanwhile, the Montana Democrats are touring the state at public events.
