Sheehy used his riches to buy up luxury properties across Montana, including a private peninsula with a “caretakers quarters”
Helena, MT – After his recent move to Montana, Tim Sheehy did exactly what you would expect from a multimillionaire living out his Yellowstone fantasies: He bought up luxury properties in some of the highest-priced places in Montana, from a private peninsula on Flathead Lake with a “caretakers quarters” and a sauna to a ski-in, ski-out resort in Big Sky valued at $7.7 million.
Multimillionaire Sheehy would be in the top 10 wealthiest members of Congress if elected, if not the wealthiest – and his $5 million salary means he’s making 96 times more than the average Montanan.
Rather than help Montanans with rising costs, Sheehy contributed to them. As high housing costs hurt Montana families amid an influx of wealthy out-of-staters, Sheehy was snatching up second and third homes and 37,000 acres of land.
Sheehy doesn’t know the first thing about the Montana way of life – he’s too busy pricing out his neighbors.
