Sheehy reduced his luxury Big Sky vacation property’s valuation by $2 million
Helena, MT – While Montanans’ property taxes skyrocket, multimillionaire Tim Sheehy used a company employee to lower his Big Sky vacation mansion’s property valuation by $2 million, saving himself tens of thousands in property taxes.
New reporting yesterday revealed how Sheehy filed “a successful appeal of the valuation of his multimillion-dollar vacation property in Big Sky, saving tens of thousands of dollars" and reducing its value by $2 million. Sheehy rents his luxury vacation property for “an average of $1,400 a night.”
While Montanans struggle with rising property taxes thanks to rich out-of-staters like Sheehy, he is only looking out for himself.
