Today’s revelations will add to Daines’ long history of cozying up to Big Pharma – accepting more than $140,000 from pharmaceutical companies over his career despite these companies having “little to no presence in Montana.” Last year, when Democrats and Republicans came together for drug pricing legislation, Daines voted to gut “the core policy” of the bill, which constituted the bulk of taxpayer savings.
Daines can’t be trusted to lower Montanans’ drug prices, since he’s been fighting for his Big Pharma backers.
“Throughout his time in Congress, Daines has fought tooth and nail for his Big Pharma buddies – while failing hard-working Montanans,” said MDP Communications Advisor Christina Wilkes. “Today, we’ll see if Big Pharma has once again returned the favor.”
