Rep Rosendale Votes NO on Resolution Supporting the People of Ukraine

A month before invasion, Rosendale introduced bill to deny aid to Ukraine

Helena, MT – In a vote of 426-3 yesterday, Congress passed a resolution of support for the people of Ukraine, following Russian President Putin’s unprovoked and deadly invasion. Rep. Rosendale was one of three Members of Congress who voted no – fully cementing his place as Putin’s most loyal propagandist.

A month before the invasion, Rosendale introduced a bill that would deny aid to Ukraine until the United States finishes building the border wall. The person who benefits most clearly from this bill is Russian President Putin, who at the time was planning his attack.

“This is not the first time Rosendale has parroted Putin’s authoritarian propaganda. It will not be the last,” says Sheila Hogan, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party. “We’d like to remind Rep. Rosendale that he works for us– not for Putin.”
