Among the votes Gianforte skipped:
-
$10 million in funding for Education Department programs related to higher education.
-
$5 million in funding for community school and school safety programs.
-
$1 million in funding for career, technical, and adult education programs.
Greg Gianforte’s record in Congress was so atrocious that the Montana Federation of Public Employees – Montana’s largest teacher’s union – voted to unanimously condemn his candidacy, a first for the union.
“No Show Greg has spent his time in Congress playing hooky instead of showing up for the safety and wellbeing of Montana’s students and educators,” said MDP Deputy Communications Director Matt Fidel. “After skipping more votes than 93% of his colleagues, No Show Greg’s attendance record earns an ‘F.’”
