MTN News: Gianforte’s Running Mate Caught on Tape Praising Right-to-Work Legislation
Kristen Juras: “I support Right-to-Work laws”

Helena, MT – MTN News is reporting on a damning new audio recording, during which Kristen Juras – Greg Gianforte’s gubernatorial running mate – was caught praising so called Right-to-Work legislation.

“I support Right-to-Work laws,” said Juras. Juras goes on to say that Right-to-Work would be a first term agenda item for the Gianforte administration, assuring voters that “Greg wouldn’t veto Right-to-Work” if legislators brought a bill to his desk.

Since entering public life, Gianforte has tried his best to conceal his support for Right-to-Work laws, simply claiming that “it wouldn’t be a priority.” As recently as last week, Gianforte claimed to support unions. Juras also claimed that she and Gianforte had “never discussed” the issue, a shocking admission given the fact that they’re running together on the same ticket.

Now, Gianforte becomes the first gubernatorial candidate in decades to openly support Right-to-Work laws, which are designed to undermine and damage organized labor and working families.

“Kristen Juras just confirmed what most Montanans already knew – if elected, Greg Gianforte would betray working families and transform Montana into Wisconsin,” said MDP Deputy Communications Director Matt Fidel. “It’s about time Montanans found out the truth: Gianforte has never been an advocate for workers, and he’s not about to start now.”
