Montana Dems Release New Paid Digital Ad of Trump at Rallies Touting Tester’s Bipartisan Bills to Help Our Veterans

Helena – The Montana Democratic Party released a paid digital ad today of President Trump repeatedly touting Sen. Jon Tester’s bipartisan bills, including the VA Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act and the VA MISSION Act, which Trump signed into law.

The president—who has signed 16 of Sen. Tester’s bills into law—said it was “a great honor”to sign the VA MISSION Act and that he was “proud” of the VA Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act. The two Tester bills will hold the VA accountable to veterans, protect whistleblowers at the VA, and provide veterans with more health care choices.

Wealthy East Coast developer Matt Rosendale has repeatedly voted against Montana’s veterans: Rosendale voted against funding for the Butte veterans home multiple times—crucial funding for Montana’s veterans secured by Sen. Tester.

Rosendale also voted to slash funding for the Columbia Falls veterans home by $3 million, voted against creating a home loan program for first-time veteran and Gold Star family homebuyers, and voted against providing scholarships for Montana’s Purple Heart recipients.
