Montana Democratic Party Announces Key Hires Heading into the New Year
Helena, MT – Just two weeks into the new year — and two weeks into Sandi Luckey’s tenure as Executive Director — the Montana Democratic Party is staffing up in key departments as it gears up for a pivotal 2020 election cycle.
Nathan Stein, former National Press Secretary for the Bullock for President campaign, is joining MDP as Communications Director. Ciara Maxwell, a veteran of field operations in three election cycles, is joining MDP as Field Director for the Montana Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee.
With a whirlwind of additions to kick off the new year, Montana Democrats are fired up and ready to fight and win up and down the ticket in 2020.
“This is a critical year for Montana, and I can’t wait to spend every day fighting for a brighter future for the Last Best Place,” said MDP Communications Director Nathan Stein. “From access to affordable healthcare, to securing good jobs for working families, Montana Democrats know what’s at stake in this election — and we’re ready to go to the mat to defend the values that make this state great.”
“We’re thrilled to have Nathan and Ciara join the team. With their energy and experience, our team is stronger than ever as we race towards a crucial election in November,” said MDP Executive Director Sandi Luckey. “The stakes are high, but Montana Democrats are ready to go.”
“This is a big year for our state, and the Montana Democratic Party is rising to the occasion,” said MDP Executive Board Chair Robyn Driscoll. “With a full lineup of strong candidates, and a top-tier team ready to fight for them, Montana Democrats are heading into the new year with the determination and tenacity to win.”
