“Senator Daines knows that small business is the backbone of our economy.”
Fact Check: When the pandemic first hit, Daines’ priority number one was looking out for his big-business backers, pushing for a corporate slush fund without strong protections to prevent corporations from using funds to boost CEO bonuses or buy back stocks
“Steve Daines. Strong leadership.”
Fact Check: During the global pandemic, Daines has stuck to his promise to gut the Affordable Care Act which would threaten health coverage for more than 80,000 Montanans, and jeopardize thousands of jobs, reduce access to mental health and substance use disorder treatments, and devastate rural hospitals.
