Daines Campaign Rakes In Cash From Corporate PACs & Big Pharma
Helena, MT – Senator Steve Daines’ fundraising report for the second quarter reveals once again that his biggest supporters aren’t the hard-working people of Big Sky Country, but the same corporate donors and special interests he’s fought for his entire career in Congress.

Daines Q2 campaign contributions include:

  • Nearly $170,000 from corporate PACs
  • $11,500 from Big Pharma, including Pfizer, Zeneca PAC, and Johnson&Johnson
  • $6,500 from health insurance company PACs, notably UnitedHealth Group PAC and Aflac PAC

“Steve Daines is the preferred candidate of corporate donors because they know he’ll continue doing their bidding in the Senate,” said MDP Communications Advisor Christina Wilkes. “In Montana, Daines says he’s fighting for lower drug prices and to protect Montanans with pre-existing conditions, but back in Washington D.C. he’s raking in contributions from Big Pharma and the insurance industry. Unlike Governor Bullock who has pledged not to take corporate PAC money, Daines is leaning on his special interest allies to get him re-elected.”
