Tim Sheehy scares Montanans with his plot to sell off our public lands
 

Helena, MT – This month, Halloween came early for Montana as transplant Tim Sheehy terrified the state with his call to transfer public lands.

Sheehy recently claimed that we should transfer control of public lands to states, counties, or even a “local landlord,” making it easier to sell off Montana’s public lands to private interests. As Matt Rosendale knows, this is an unwinnable position in Montana. 

Sheehy’s vision for Montana’s public lands is downright horrifying. Instead of letting every Montanan enjoy the best of our state, he wants to transfer our lands and allow them to be sold off to the highest bidder.

We know that our lands belong in the hands of Montanans – not wealthy out-of-staters like Tim Sheehy. Montana voters won’t let scary Sheehy’s plans come true.
