Despite his awkward attempts to claim a different East Coast state as his home during last week’s gubernatorial debate, the New Jersey Globe is reporting that “Greg Gianforte lived in New Jersey for 16 years.”
Since moving to Montana from New Jersey, Greg Gianforte sued public land owners to block access to the East Gallatin River, praised a statewide sales tax as an “ideal solution,” and built a business based on outsourcing American jobs.
“New Jersey gazillionaire Greg Gianforte just doesn’t share Montana values, and he simply can’t be trusted to protect what Montanans value most,” said MDP Deputy Communications Director Matt Fidel. “Gianforte has spent his career fighting to block public land access, strip health care coverage, and defund public education. That sort of record might fly in New Jersey, but it certainly won’t Montana.”
