14 DAYS: Reminder: “Rosendale should know that the policies he supports do opposite of what he promised”

Rosendale’s health care agenda would leave the 152,000 Montanans with pre-existing conditions unprotected
Helena – In the final two weeks of the election, we’re taking a look at some of East Coast developer Matt Rosendale’s worst moments.

Today, a reminder Rosendale claims that he will “always protect” Montanans with pre-existing conditions, but has pushed for policies that don’t do that – like a previously banned and unregulated program and short-term plans that don’t have to cover pre-existing conditions.

The Billings Gazette called out Rosendale, writing, “As the state’s insurance commissioner, Rosendale should know that the policies he supports do opposite of what he promised.”

But Rosendale doesn’t seem to care, since he is doubling down on his support for repealing our current health care system, which would end protections for the 152,000 Montanans with pre-existing conditions.

Rosendale has failed to protect Montanans as insurance commissioner, pushing for plans that aren’t required to cover pre-existing conditions all while rubber-stamping higher health care rates. Rosendale can’t be trusted to look out for Montana and would be dangerous for our health care.
