Have you been following the news about immigration and the chaos with ICE? Want to learn more about the history of the US immigration system, what’s happening today, and what we can do from here?
Kari Hong, appellate attorney with the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project, will join us to talk about mass deportation, detention and ICE, using her decades of experience and research to walk us through look back — and a look forward. She’ll discuss practical reforms that can be adapted today, in order to rebuild an orderly, fair and economically rational immigration system.
