Rosendale, Fagg, Downing Want to Limit Women’s Right to Choose

Helena – No, it’s not The Handmaid’s Tale, but it could be. All GOP Senate candidates believe that politicians should be involved in women’s personal health care choices.

Wealthy East Coast developer Matt Rosendale opposes abortion, even in extreme cases of rape or incest. He also voted for a personhood amendment, which would have defined personhood as beginning at conception and would have banned many common forms of birth control.

Ethically challenged Russell Fagg and Californian Troy Downing also oppose abortion with no exceptions.

These extreme views are dangerously out of touch with Montana values. A woman should always have the right to control her own body and make her own decisions about her health care. But Rosendale, Fagg, and Downing don’t believe women should have that freedom and they don’t want to keep the government out of women’s personal health care choices – proving yet again that they won’t protect Montanans.
