2012 Montana Delegate Selection Convention
Join Montana Democrats as they gather in Helena in June to participate in the Montana Delegate Selection Convention. The 2012 Delegate Selection Convention expects great crowds of Montana Democrats and special visits from Democratic elected officials, party dignitaries, and those Democrats who will have been newly nominated during the Primary Election earlier that week!
When & Where
Mark your calendars! We will be starting around mid-day on Saturday, June 9th. (Immediately following the 2012 Montana Democratic Party Platform Convention.) You can view the full schedule for the weekend here.
The Convention will be held in Helena at the Gateway Center, 1710 National Ave.
Participation
All Montana Democrats are invited to join us for the Delegate Selection Convention.
Voting delegates for the Montana Delegate Selection Convention are those Democrats elected at their local County Delegate Selection Conventions to be held, Thursday, June 7th. For start times and locations, contact your local County Central Committee Chair.

Montana's Delegate Selection Plan
The Montana Delegate Selection Plan outlines the process in which Montana will elect its Democrats to send to the 2012 Democratic National Convention. Please see this plan for the complete rules and regulations regarding delegate selection.
This summary includes the basic steps of the Delegate Selection process.
All participants in the process must be registered voters. See this document for more information about registering yourself or other Democrats to vote. You can also find this information at the Montana Secretary of State's website at www.sos.mt.gov
The District Level Delegates in Montana will be elected from the districts utilized by the Montana Democratic Party, Eastern and Western.

Candidates for National Convention Delegates must file the attached form in order to be elected as a Delegate.
Montana County Conventions
County Conventions will be held on Thursday, June 7th in County Seats around the state.

Montana's Delegate Selection Convention will be held in Helena, on Saturday, June 9th. Check back for more information.
2012 Democratic National Convention
The 2012 Democratic National Committee Convention will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina and is scheduled to convene on Monday, September 3rd. The purpose of this convention is to nominate the Democratic Presidential Candidate for 2012.
